Jiří Moos
Managing Director of i&i Prague, founder and Managing Director of Sophomer
In addition to his roles at i&i Prague and as a founder of the startup Sophomer, Jiří also serves as an external member of the Board of the Institute of Biotechnology. Originally a scientist at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Prague, and with postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania, Jiří has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing at Sigma-Aldrich, Merck, Beckman Coulter, and DiaSorin.
Matyáš Krijt, R&D Specialist
Inventor of the patented technology and R&D Specialist.
Matyáš is one of the two inventors behind the patented CLLEVERT technology. He earned his academic degrees in Biochemistry at Faculty of Sciences and completed his Ph.D. at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, focusing on the development of clinical diagnostic methods. His scientific contributions include 14 publications, h-index of 9, and over 260 citations, complemented by numerous presentations at international conferences, research institutes, and universities.
Jiří Sopuch, R&D Specialist
Founder and Managing Director of Medirekt partner.
Jiri has more than 20 years’ experience in the management of manufacturing firms specialising in the production of medical devices.Holder of several utility and industrial designs, holder of a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate.
Vít Pokorný
Research and development specialist.Vit is responsible for product design, technical, and material parts of the project. He has more than 3O years of experience in the design of laboratory instrumentation. Provided technical consultancy for the company, Multiple peptide systems, Trega Biosciences, and Illumina. He held various positions in the development centre at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry in Prague. Most of this time, he was involved in developing novel techniques in the field of peptide chemistry. He is an inventor and co-inventor of a dozen patents.
Denisa Myslivcova, R&D Specialist
Specialist in Laboratory Methods at the Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (UHKT).
With over 20 years of experience at UHKT, where she also completed her PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics, she currently works as a Specialist in Laboratory Methods. Her professional background combines deep expertise in molecular biology with long-term experience in research and diagnostics.
Daniel Vyoral, R&D Specialist
Research Scientist at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (IHBT) and Lecturer in the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University
At IHBT since 1986, where he began his career after graduating from the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. His research focuses on metal metabolism, mechanisms of cellular differentiation, and proteomics. In addition to his scientific work, he also lectures in the First Faculty of Medicine.
Jan Berka
Jan studied Molecular Biology and Genetics at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic.
Following his doctorate, he joined the Barnett Institute at Northeastern University in Boston, where he contributed to the development of DNA sequencers — a foundational technology in modern genomics. Throughout his career, Jan has held pivotal roles in leading biotechnological and diagnostics companies, including CuraGen, 454 Life Sciences, Pfizer Rinat, and Adaptive Biotechnologies. At these organizations, he was deeply involved in pioneering DNA and immune system sequencing methods that have helped shape the future of precision medicine. Before joining the i&i Prague and CLLEVERT team, Jan worked at Roche Molecular Diagnostics in California, where he focused on the development of biomarker assays — further strengthening his expertise in cutting-edge diagnostic technologies.
